To cancel your subscription, I recommend following the steps below on your computer, although it is of course possible to do so with your phone.

1. The first step is to Create a customer account (if it is not already done), using the same email address you used for your purchase.

2. Once connected, go to your customer profile "My account".

3. You will then see a link called "Mon Abonnement / My Subscription". Click on it.

4. You will then see a button to cancel your subscription (or pause it).

5. (optional) I think the above steps are quite easy to understand but if you have any questions feel free to use the contact form or the site chat.

Since July 1, 2021, some countries of the European Union have decided to apply additional VAT charges on parcels coming from areas outside the EU (including Japan).

Countries like Switzerland, Canada or the United Kingdom are not concerned, because they are not members of the EU.

Although we haven't had any issue for the vast majority of our orders, as the tax is paid in Japan at the time of dispatch, we ask you to keep in mind that we have no control over the application or not of these customs fees.

The recipient is responsible for paying the amount request by the postal service and Tokyo Snack Box cannot reimburse you for these charges.

As for the monthly Tokyo Snack Box, this is an engagement free subscription. This means that you can unsubscribe at any time, and even right after your first order if you wish (which makes it perfect as a gift!)

Once payment is received, you will receive the box, even if you suspend your subscription.
You will not be debited in the following months and will not receive the following monthly boxes.

If needed, we can unsubscribe you manually from our end, so don't worry.

Your first box is usually sent right away, within a week of you purchase. After that, if you keep your subscription, the monthly box is sent for everyone at the same time, around the end of the month.

For every box we send, we try to add the snack list, as well as the allergens.

If needed, you can contact us before we ship your box, to let us know your allergens/diet, so that we may replace the snacks.

If you would like to gift some of our products and to customize the package with a message inside, it is possible at no additional cost. In order to do that, please reach out to us at gift@tokyosnackbox.comafter your purchase. You can send the message in the language you prefer, and we can even translate it to Japanese.

Of course, we can ship the box of snacks directly to the person you want to gift it to. You just need to write his/her shipping address at checkout, and use your address as billing address.
